Quantum emitters coupled to a waveguide can interact collectively through the guided field, forming modes with distinct radiative properties. Modes with suppressed radiation can help retain quantum excitations, but are also more difficult to excite and probe spectroscopically.

This project examines the connections between collective modes, light–matter coupling, and spectral response in waveguide-mediated atomic cavities. It considers how the radiative properties of these modes affect their excitation and detection, and how coherent interactions and interference appear in the spectrum.

Details of the scheme and results will be added when ready for public release.
